The Writers’ Facebook is one of the fastest growing social networking fora that writers can utilize to their advantage. The site has grown in less than a month to a membership of more than 43 and still counting. What are you waiting for? Spare a few minutes and message your friends, post status updates, chat and share your links. Isn’t it fun?

For a long time I dreamt of having one platform that would unite all online writers and give them a chance to discuss all aspects of writing. I wanted to unite writers on Associated content, Helium, Factoidz, Wikinut and Triond among other sites. I wanted to create a home for all writers.

I first came up with an easy to use site called The Greatest Writers Forum which attracted many members but did not live up to its expectations. Even though it now has more than 1200 members, The Greatest Writers Forum is dormant with members, most of them not writers, contended with reading my posts and not contributing.

The Writers’ Facebook is different. The site has attracted real writers with a genuine need to network and help each other out. Writers are able to post status updates, send and accept friend requests, send and receive messages, post links to their online articles, as well as ask and receive answers to their questions.

The site started with one member like they all start but currently has grown to 43 members and still counting. Not all members are as active as they should be, but the fact that they have joined shows the great promise that the site has. Very experienced writers have joined the discussions and quite a lot is going on. Will you be left behind?

Join the site and connect with real writers, share your links, ask questions and make friends. You will be amazed at how much networking can do for you. Meet your friends from all over the internet and chat on everything about online writing. The site has no commercial value but the social value it holds is enormous and just waiting to be harnessed.
