Susan Berman – Her Life

A look at what happened during susan berman`s life.

 Susan Berman was an reporter and author born in 1945. She was the daughter of David Berman, a mob figure in las vegas. She was shot with a nine-milimeter hand gun in 2000 on christmas eve and died. She is known for her writings about life being a daughter of a mobster.

 Both susan`s parent`s died when she was young. Her father died  mysteriously on the operating table when she was twelve and her mothers suicide a year later im mysterious circumstances. She was known as the jewish mafia princess. Many details of her personal life are unclear – she was married once during the 1980`s and helped an boyfriend raise two children.

 Susan`s writing works are highly praised. In 1981, she published easy street, memoirs about life as a mobsters daughter. The rights were bought to make an screenplay but it never took off. She had a masters degree in journalism from the university of california and also wrote driver, give a solider a lift and lady las vegas. She was a cotributing writer for Family Circle, New York and Cosmopolitan as well as being a staff writer for the san fanciso examier.

 There are therioes that her death in linked to the disapearance of kathie durst in 1982. She was interviewed by the police a few days before her death. When she died, she was working on a showtime version of the sopranoes.
