Strange Traffic Trends and How You Cannot Predict Them

You may see as an online content writer, that your views may vary from day to day and that what is being viewed, might also be a surprise.

Your views and income might go high at one moment and sink down a next. Is this because your content might not be so great?

Well, we may have minor moments and write down things that might not be so interesting to others, as we may think it is, but we just write down, because we feel the need to it.

Basically, all a writer writes down, is because he feels the need to it.

And you may have a booming article that gets tons of views one moment and rockets you sky high, but when all have seen it, it gets no more traffic and your views decline, same as your income.

But recently, I discovered something weird. You can have articles that nobody seems to care about, that you know are well written and that remain kind of unnoticed for months.

And suddenly: people start looking at it. Hey, I get a lot of views lately on one of my older articles, I almost forgot.

In the main time: I edited a lot of my older content, I considered to need some improvement. They might have been kind of good articles, but I felt they could do better.

Well, some do not seem to gain any traffic anymore, after I changed them and presumed they were better.

I know I might have started writing as some kind of depresses drag here, but those days are over, mainly due to the things I wrote down.

I started editing and deleting some stuff. There were articles I really did not like to share anymore, since I wanted to finish certain chapters, but one article seem to draw a lot of traffic, after I just smudged it up.

Yeps, writing is trial and error and I love to improve. I started to find my tone and I figured out that having an opinion and sharing this in an article is not a bad thing, surely not when you have the arguments to defend your point of view.

Still, I read a lot of work I disagree upon, but still love to read, although I totally disagree with the writer, I might still like this person and his or her view.

Yes, I can write purely factual articles and I love doing this as well. Maybe my traffic on Triond is going down, because mine of Factoidz is going up.

But although I do write some stuff purely on facts, I do notice that I wrote them because I have an opinion on them. So is there actually real unemotional content anywhere online, that is not written purely by a computer.

Yes, we can easily tell when somebody wrote things with a computer.

So write the articles you believe in and do not mind the fact that they might not gain any visit trends at first, because somehow they might earn later.

Good article. I notice some articles that were written last summer and a few people read them. I always appreciate somebody reading something I created.
