Start of the year writing.

It’s the first day of 2010. I woke up with peacefulness in my head and decided not to report to the office today. What a relief! It’s a holiday anyways. Staring at the empty planner I recently bought, I was thinking what I should write on those blank pages. What urged me buy such thick blue-cloth covered planner was to make plans and strategies in advance. My goal is to improve the things that I did in the previous years and perhaps challenge myself with things I have not done before. Very mind-screeching indeed! But there are lots of areas of my life that need to be sand-papered.
So, let me start with my writing and blogging. Last year, the average number of articles I made is 4 in a month. Although statistically speaking, this is not the real case. There are days when I felt lazy writing an article actually. But in October, November and December I felt so inspired and I was able to complete 9, 9 and 28 articles, respectively.
The following are my published blogs in October:
2. Antigone and The Conflict with Creon
7. Enjoy Pain
9. Toastmasters International Formally Unveils Pillars TMC
The following are my published blogs in November:
1. Spot of The Philippines in November 2009
4. Messiah – The Summary of Oratorio
5. Lust Haiku
6. Watching Flightplan with a Sigh of Relief
7. Sexuality in Different Perspectives
8. John Travolta in Phenomenon
The following are my published blogs in December:
1. Greatest Michaels of All Time
2. Be Careful What You Wish For
3. Read the Guidelines or Else You’d be Sorry
4. Seven Deadly Sins
6. Avatar – James Cameron is a Genius!
9. Diseases Affecting Children
12. Porn Reading
13. The Condom Ruined The Night
14. Fresh Complain
18. Anything Except Holding Hands
19. My New Shoes
22. Introducing
23. Why Pillars?
24. Indulgence of a Simple Picture
25. The Bright Side of Being Poor
26. Fresh From The Mystique Island
27. Triond Conquers Philippines
My goal for 2010 on the aspect of writing is to finish at least 730 articles the whole year, which means that I should write at least 2 articles a day. This is very achievable especially at times when I am so inspired. My mind when trafficked with words would always long scratches until it gets some rushes. On December 24, I was able to finish 6 articles but I do not want to put so much weight on my shoulder to finish this much. So, I only aim to make 2 articles a day.
There are other things that I’d want to do other than writing. And of course, there are things that I could not afford to miss out. I still have to work 8 hours. I still have to sleep. And still have to give time to paint, cook, do some laundry, fix my room, socialize, do some outdoor activities, attend meetings and fix some other aspects such as love life, family issues, problems, financial issues, etc.

Good luck with that. I challenge myself to write (and edit!) one chapter a week for my noveling blog, and also to get it out there publicly. Obviously you got that part done since I found you through digg.
