This is a special report on the recent happenings on Triond, mainly about the hundreds of users leaving each day! Its indeed shocking and revealing. Answers to all your questions and wonders on the situation. From the user’s point of view and the administrators point of view. What next for administration and next for users. What are we to do? Read on.
Counting from the last three days, the number of users on Triond has kept depreciating each day resulting in a massive decrease in regular daily publishes.
Why the Sudden Decrease?
Those concerned about the situation are asking this big question. From my observation and close monitoring of recent happenings, I would mainly attribute it to Jimmy Shilaho’s open declaration of decision to quit Triond.
Thousands saw Jimmy’s post and were probably touched and got their senses aroused by revelations about some things Jimmy didn’t like about Triond that has caused several great writers to leave including himself.
Jimmy talked about earnings as peanuts, time wasting which isn’t worth the efforts put into it, pirating of existing writings among others.
One would wonder how a simple ‘goodbye for now’ writing can cause thousands to quit Triond. Its now evident and there is no need to wonder.
What are Triond Administrators’ Impression About It?
Their foundations and doorsteps have been shaken and undoubtedly, administrators are aware of what is happening in the community. They are obviously not happy because they make some real good money from us. More users mean more money for administrators, vice versa.
What are Administrators Doing About It?
It isn’t too clear what they are doing but one thing for sure is they are panicked and having meetings here and there just to settle everything and stabilize the system.
Maybe they would tighten their online scanner to ensure there is no copying of existing writing; which is a major problem facing some writers and also come out with attractive monthly specials, bonuses and so on.
What Next For Us Users?
This is indeed a trying moment for all. What we can do is to make the best out of the time. Let us not give up, quit or leave. For the love and passion for it, let us just keep the spirit, be a little more patient and hope for the brighter day soon to come.

I’m not convinced 100s are leaving, however notifications have been playing up since Thursday, which may lead people to think publications are down. I furthermore do not believe Jimmy was the influence people think he was, I seldom encountered him. And while he was a big contributor, there are many mire that contribute far more. Many of which we never encounter.
