I am pleased about this.
Some Writers might already be aware of this, but I have just noticed and I hope those who didn’t know about it find it useful. As you know, the allocating of articles is computerised. So, even though you select a category it’s not a guarantee that it will be published there.
E.g An Article about Lady Drivers, even though put under “women” category could be published on Webupon Website because the computer thinks you are referring to the driver in a computer.
I used to be worried about asking for relocations, as I thought I’d have to change links that I have backlinked from other sites, but actually Triond deal with it nicely.
1) They re-allocate it.
2) When people click on the old link, it’s automatically directed to the new link.
3) If it was in the list of Popular Articles, it will not lose its position.
4) You don’t lose any of the comments friends have posted.
So, never hesitate to request for a relocation.

**For those who are new, click on “Published Articles.” Once you have found the article, select “relocate” and make the relevant selections.

I haven’t had to relocate anything as of yet, but it’s good to know that comments and the like won’t be lost.

Ah yes, I have requested for relocation a few times. No matter how meticulously we choose the titles and tags, sometimes, articles still end up in the wrong sites.

Good info. It took me a while to realize there was a relocation button. This will help all who don’t know and those who need assurance that it’s a good idea. Thank you, kind soul

Good tips… what’s really annoying is when you pick the correct category, Triond disagree and publish it elsewhere and then you have to relocate it. As it gets double exposure, going into the news feed again, I can’t really complain lol.

I haven’t tried relocating an article yet, but this is good info to know, especially about the links following the article.

LadyE…Extremely helpful information…Thank you for giving the heads-up on this re-location business…things would run so much more smoothly if Triond got rid of their stupid, narrow, one-track minded computers and put real people to work doing only what real people can do best…following instructions rather than relying on computerized robots to think they know what is best for us…Anyway, I voted that I like this one…thanks and take care
