Six Reasons for Writers to be Thankful

If you’re a writer, you’re probably passionate about your readers. Oftentimes, it’s easy to overlook being thankful for the small things you have. Remember, God is listening to you.

Are you thankful or are you full of complaints? In this article, I really want to inspire you to be more thankful, and give you reasons why. But first I’ll give you a Bible verse that commands you to be thankful. It’s God’s idea; He wants to bless you. Can you think of others?

1 Thessalonians 5:18 says, “In all things give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.” (KJV)

There is another verse that let us know, it’s a good thing to give thanks to the Lord.

As I mentioned earlier, here are six reasons for writers to be thankful and reasons:

  1. Thank God for Your computer

  2. Reason: If you didn’t have one, it would be very difficult to write efficiently.

  3. Thank God for Your Imagination, Creativity, and Wisdom

  4. Reason: Your articles and writing would be lifeless and dull.

  5. Thank God for an Internet Connection

  6. Reason: Without an Internet connection, you’d not have resources like this one to get your work published.

  7. Thank God for Your Life, Health, and Strength

  8. Reason:If you were not able physically, you wouldn’t be able to write.

  9. Thank God for Every Penny You’ve Earned

  10. Reason: If you want to increase, start giving thanks for what you have.

  11. Thank God for Other Writers

  12. Reason: We’re a group of writers that have the same passion. So we can encourage each other.

This is just a partial list of ways to be thankful. I’m sure you’re already adding to this list. That’s great!
