I think some of the Triond sites may be ripping us off just a little bit.
As a writer on Triond your main goal is to get as many views as you possibly can. And if your using the right resources and doing the right things you will get a pretty descent amount of veiws. But when looking at your earnings you might only see a few cents. Do you think this is fair? I mean we put our blood sweat and tears into writing good articles for people to view, but only make a few cents for them.
While on the other hand Triond and other sites are making tons of money from the views we get from our articles. Because if you think about it our views are their views. With all our views put together they get a pretty huge amount of views on there website. And I’m sure these sites has Google Adsense also. So they are making really good money, but are only paying us half a cent per view.
I don’t know about the rest of you, but I think they can afford to pay us a little more. Atleast 2-5 cents per view. Is that too much to ask for? I don’t think it is. I think it’s pretty reasonable seeing that we attract most of the attention to their sites.
For those of you who received an message from me for my new blogging site,I apologize for sending the wrong link. Here’s the right one: UblogGalaxy.Blogspot.com. Hope you like it.

I am just happy to be paid for something I’m enjoying doing. My mom says I might not be famous for my writing until 100 years from now, after I’m dead. i don’t accept death easily, but I accept that is when I may become famous.

I half agree with you. If I’m just thinking about myself and want to earn a lot, I would agree with you. But think about it.
The website has to pay its staff, the server, maintain the site, make improvements and all the overhead costs that they need to take care of and they want to make a profit besides. It is after all a business and if a business doesn’t make a profit, what’s the point of going into business.
We as writers here are just “parking” our humble opinions on this site. The site doesn’t demand perfect articles. You can in fact write one word and you’ll get published and get paid nonetheless. What more can you ask?
This brilliant website is sharing 50% of all revenue generated. If you want more, you should concentrate on writing on your blog and see how much you can earn. And by the way, how’s that going for you? Are you earning anything yet?

I suspect that Triond don’t earn as much from the adverts as you might expect. After all, the advertisers will only be willing to pay a fraction of what they earn from those who actually click on the ads and buy something. And most people don’t actually click on the ads. Let’s say only one in a hundred viewers actualy click on an ad and only one in ten of these actually go as far as to buy something. And let’s say that something is worth $40. So the advertiser received revenue of $40 per thousand views. But maybe only $8 of that is profit, and they might only be willing to share 10% of that. So in this example Triond might be able to charge 80 cents per thousand views. Triond then need to cover their costs and make a profit too, so they might share, say, one quarter of it with us i.e. 20 cents per thousand views, well below the level you would like. Now I’ve just arrived at these numbers by a wild guess, but I’d be very surprised indeed if the Triond model could support the sorts of rates of pay you’d like.
