Have you ever wondered when such and such a writer joined Triond? Find out when any Triond writer with a picture profile or a given referral number joined. This article lists numerous Triond writers and the dates they joined. It also gives the technique to find out how.
When did you join Triond? Who was there before you? Who came after you? These are some of the questions that this article answers. I am finding more and more than most Triond writers do not know the exact date or even roughly the month that they joined Triond. One Triond writer gave the date that he joined Triond and he was wrong by a whole year! Most Trionders look back at the date of their first article and assume that that was when they joined Triond but the information associated with their picture profile does not lie as far as date is concerned. Many Triond writers did not write their first article on the same day that they joined. Some wrote days after. Others first wrote as much as months after. As I stated in my articles What Your Triond Picture Profile Says About You | Webupon, Mystery Case of The First Triond Writer Reopened | Writinghood and How Many Writers are There Really on Triond? | Writinghood among others, once you have a picture in your Triond profile that picture has the date you joined Triond and your registration number which is called your referral number. This is by no means private information as the information is easily accessible by simply right clicking on one’s Triond picture and then on “View image.” As for the referral number, that is there too and it is displayed by those who are trying to get referrals. The following is a guide as to which writers joined in which year. It is by no means an exhaustive list (which can be exhausting). It is a mix of popular writers as well as some that are not as widely known so this will give the latter much needed exposure.
Please note that the day is given before the month in brackets. Since profiles without pictures read “0” instead of a referral number this information can never be complete. Also, the starting points and endings of each year alone were based on data cached by archive.org which unfortunately did not cache information for all date ranges. See http://wayback.archive.org/web/*/http://s3.amazonaws.com/triond/avatars/* The data within the various years, however, was manually gleaned by using the “view Image” feature described earlier.

Forgive me if I could not include your name due to the vast number of individuals who have signed up with Triond since 2006. I sought to get examples of writers who represent the various years from 2006 till the present time including the not so well-known as well as the known. You will appreciate that this was a herculean task. If it is any consolation while many great writers were included here many great writers were also left out. It was not meant to be a Triond roll call. Let me take this opportunity to thank all those who have supported my writing for close to two years now by their comments, their likes and their sharing it elsewhere on the net. To them I say “Thank you” and to all I say “God bless.”

This is a cool article. I knew I had joined in 2008 but never put too much thought in the month and year. At that time we did not get cool badges.

Thanks for putting in all of this work to share this information with us. You mentioned names of some people who were good friends but have moved on. I noticed that you did not mention Louie Jerome, who passed away.
Does anyone know what happened to Mnofdichotomy?

Yes – I have had Triond friends who have since moved on too. But then, I keep meeting so many lovely people. And the world turns!!! Lovely article, Shelpeare. Happy New 2012 to you.

Thanks for the comments everybody. @ Karen Gross, yes I left out the writer you mentioned as I did not want people to say that I included her and left out those who are still alive. It is a delicate situation. I can’t say I know the whereabouts of MN though. I hope he is well.
