Review of Lj Spain

Weekly Triond Author Reviews/Awards.

Erin’s Note: I am only posting it early just this once. Normally, Triond reviews that I write are done every Saturday.

LJ Spain is a writer of a decent caliber here on Triond. She writes excellent articles pertaining to almost any topic. I admit I haven’t read all of this author’s work yet, but from what I have read of hers, I can make a decent judgment.

I have read some of this author’s early work and was interested to read further. She joined Triond back in November of 2010. From her first article you can sense her nervousness. This is typical of any writer. It makes for a good writer when they make you feel an assortment of different emotions. This is what happened to me while reading LJ Spain’s work. However, as her articles progressed her nervousness eventually turned into confidence.

With each new article, LJ Spain writes she gets better and better. We all know the common line “Practice makes perfect!” In this case, LJ Spain is the prime example of that statement.

She writes a variety of different things. Her “what if?” story is truly remarkable. I was amazed and actually thought it was real until I read the very last sentence. I think it is rare for an author to be able to pull that off.

With LJ Spain’s health articles, I have also learned new things, from meditation (which I have tried), to home remedies for brown spots and dark circles under the eyes. Now, I already know of another remedy for dark circles under the eyes and I also don’t have brown spots on my skin, but I am only twenty three years old. It is a good reference for me to look at in the future. (I hope I don’t get brown spots.)

Another thing about LJ Spain’s articles that I enjoy are her stories of her past. (I had no interest in memoir stories until I read the work of another author here on Triond, but she has asked me not to review her and I respect that.) I realize now that stories of people’s pasts are an absolute treasure. I now enjoy reading those things more than anything else here on Triond and LJ Spain has definitely delivered! In her memoir stories, she describes her experiences  vividly and I can picture everything as if I were watching a movie.

LJ Spain is a truly remarkable writer. To view her work you may need to copy and paste the link to her site in your browser. The same goes for the past two articles I have written on fellow Triond authors.

I agree with you Erin, LJ Spain is gaining more talent with every article. I also love her articles where she relects back to her childhood years. Those stories keep me captivated.

Oh, Erin. Thank you so much. It certainly makes me feel so good for you to say such things about my writing. I can see myself improve also, but I know I am still stumbling some. I have to take about 30 minutes or longer to review and correct and change my words around. Sometimes it takes me an hour or so to satisfy myself before I will submit for publishing. I just appreciate your positive comments so much, and Larry thank you also.

LJ Spain is also extremely nice, and loves to read articles. I think she said once that she reads and comments on everyone’s articles more than she writes. She’s always a confidence booster for me, and leaves legitimate feedback on my articles. Great review Erin!

I like LJ Spain. I’m a fan of hers as well. She’s a good story teller. Her tip for stretching shoes was outrageous. Putting shoes in the freezer, with plastic bags of water inside? I always search for tips, and never spotted that one. It sounds like it may just work. This is nice of you to review her. She started out timid, but she’s a good writer who I enjoy. It’s nice to see writers blossom.
Reviews and contests liven up Triond.
