Writers take the inititive and time to write new poetry, articles, recipes, etc. Some writing friends read their work…
What about the older poetry, articles, recipes?

Indeed, the new articles that writers and poets create on Triond, are essential, with the intention of receiving views and compensation for their work. Well, with that being said, how about viewing our fellow contributors… previous work?
Logically, if everyone took a bit of time out of their hectic working week and went into their friends list, viewed their earlier work and commented, many of their Triond friends would benefit by this, and this would build a cohesive writing rapport amongst them. A little viewing at a time, every week, surely may go a long way.
Sadly… there are writers that never get comments on many of their earlier pieces and some of their work is fairly good. It is crucial to keep our fellow Triond writers in mind and not neglect their work. After all, it’s the unselfish and right thing to do.

you are right and from time to time I most definately will view older posts. I get intot the habit of viewing my feed…. truly it isa disservice to all of us writers when our older works are not considered…….

Yup, there are some great articles out there. We can also make some minor changes to them (fix it) so they will be pushed into the news feed.

All the money is earned through older posts. When new ones come along, our faithful friends read them. The older posts are stored away somewhere, without being noticed. That’s why there’s so much discouragement among Triond writers. Thanks, for bringing this point across. Very nicely written.

I already do this, if a friend has been loyal through the times, and have not posted recent posts… I go to their old posts, and start from the back, and reply to them until they post a new one… so if you have been posting replies to me, then that is my way of returning the favour , cheers liked this one

I agree that we need to take the time to look at older work as well and I do that from time to time. I may need to step this up a bit now that I have had this timely reminder. Wonderful article!

Yes, we sometimes are too busy in our lives to take the time to read through a writer’s portfolio and it is important to support others in all of their postings!

It’s true, much of our early work is underviewed, but with all the new work to comment on and most of our comments (mine for example) not submitting, it’s almost impossible.
