Publishers: You Dont Own My Book I Do So You Better be Nice

I am a writer, it is more of a hobby then a job but i like it, I wrote a book few years ago a poetry book, i was 18 and i worked for about a year or so on it. well I procrastinated, and with the economy and stuff i didn’t ever get around to publishing it. Well as of lately i have bin feeling out publishers and i have notice quite a few are really arrogant and rude if they do not get there own way for example i was looking in to Xlibris cus i had found it on the net, well its a pukey vanity press, but i looked in to it any how and found it offered some interesting stuff, and the guy was polite, Curt but polite, and all was fine and dandy un till i told him it was going to be while before i could use his services, true i waited a long time to respond but i was busy, i don’t just write, i have a life and its quite busy, and he totally got a accusatory tone with me like i was a naughty girl and needed a spanking, and that may be so but that’s besides the point, i never promised him anything i was making a inquiry, and he got pushy and then rude. i don’t like that, i don’t think anyone dose and a vanity press dose not make you important, its bottom of the heap kinda crap. Seriously you don’t own me, you work for me no
