Praise God for Odesk

Anyone that knows me knows that I love to write and that I have been looking for a way to make sure that my writing becomes my full time job. That way I do not have to conform to society and do the 9 to 5 grind like a lot of the US. Citizens have to just to get by in the world today.  Well I am proud to say that I have found a way to do it.

That is right I found a way to make my dream come true and I am making sure to tell everyone that I know about it. You see one day while I was on Triond (one of the writing site that I belong too) one of the writers that I am friends with on the site mentioned that Odesk was one of the best ways to make money as a writer on the internet. And I am here to tell you (she was right)

You see after signing up and making my profile I took some time to fill it out right and took some tests to show the employers what my strong suits are .Then I applied for some jobs, after about 2 weeks of applying for some jobs someone offered to hire me. I was so excited that I was able to get the job that I told a friend of mine and they just laughed saying “when I see the check I will believe it.” Now if that was not a buzz kill. So I promised myself that I was going to prove her wrong and make this work. And so far I am doing well. The job that I was hired for is an hourly job which means that they are guaranteed to pay the contractor is a sure payment at the end of the work week. But there is also the fixed rate jobs and if you get the right people they will pay but those you have to be careful of because they are not a guaranteed payment and the manager of that company can decide to pay you or not .

And the best part is that 2 days after getting hired from one company another one contacted me asking if I would work with them on a long term basis and I told them yes! With the company Odesk you can work with as many employers as you can handle, just be careful that you do not bite off more than you can chew.

Plus another great reason to work with Odesk is the fact that it is not all about writing they offer jobs in things like:

It just depends in what your specialty is. And if you are wondering how you can get paid they offer contractors several different options, but the one that I would suggest is the PayPal option. When it comes to withdraw fees it is the cheapest and the best part is that you can have it set up from there to go to your bank account without the higher cost like so many other companies do. So if you are like me and want to make your hobby your honest to goodness job give it a try. You won’t be sorry that you do.
