Poetry Club

Ok so I just joined a poetry club at school because my friends kept telling the president and vice president about me. Today (11-11-09) I finally went to the meeting after school at 3:15 – 4:15 and out of all my friends, the one who laughed when I told her my talents, I was going to leave. Then I saw one of my friends I’ve known all through middle school was there along with people I knew from freshman year and sophomore year (now). Little did I know it was open mic night and anybody could share. Of course since I was the new guy and just introduced myself with a bang and my talents (rapping, dancing, singing, making beats etc.) and this one girl said you’re my 44th best friend lol.  Anyway, since I didn’t have any material, I decided to do a freestyle since my friend Angel (the one I’ve known through mid school) suggested it and so i pulled out a flash drive with some new beats on it (for my friend Nick) and let my mind out. Even though I was caught off guard I did a pretty good job as everyone told thier favorite parts. But when I asked Angel did he present when he joined he said no so I got to show off. Next Wednesday, I’ll dance.
