Can I ever reach a day of high volume Triond reads again?
This began when I realized that I couldn’t get that successful day of 643 reads with five published articles I once achieved through Triond off my mind. How could I go from that number down to a day of 5 reads over the summer? I decided on doing two studies to test what results I would get if I “mass published” articles.

I did great that day with 5 published articles, and I think “hot topics and hot titles” had a lot to do with it. So, what if I published more articles with that same idea in mind? Would I see even greater results? There has been a huge drop off in readership from what I’ve seen since a year ago, and I suspect adsense integration has something to do with that? I’ve been doing all of the same things since I started with Triond, so what’s going on? I decided to do a study of two groups and tally up the daily reads for a 3 day period. One group would include ten published articles, and the other twenty published articles, both being followed over three days.
So, did I see greater results with more than just 5 articles published? Here are my results:
-Ten published articles.
Day one Day two Day Three
412 read 510 read 298 read
-Twenty published articles
Day one Day two Day three
859 read 1,054 read 729 read
I came nowhere close to what I hoped to achieve. I did much better the day I wrote just those five articles. What’s accountable for the readership drop off? Are the ads pushing readers away? Are people not liking the Triond format? Are readers viewing us as “non professional writers” when they see triond? Is Triond itself giving credit to a small number of writers and overlooking others? For the amount of work I put into those articles, I should have done much better. I don’t think any of us are struggling because of quality, because I see a lot of great quality work on Triond, as well as interesting topics. I just know that we all should be faring much better. I guess I’ll need to keep coming up with new ideas in my quest of hitting bigger numbers in the near future.
