Improve your writing

Paid Content Writing is Endless

With the Internet breaking all the rules on writing, supply and demand couldn’t be greater. Yes, they still want quality, but you don’t have to be a best selling author to earn money writing content.

You don’t have to be a published author to write copy for content on the Internet. Getting paid for your written word seems to be an easy avenue in an economy with so many unemployed. Oh I know… the first thought is “I can’t write good enough for that” – but you are wrong. We have software that will correct most of your misspellings and underline a sentence if it can be said in a more pleasing way.

Web sites keep on growing every week and in all directions. Think about the simple brochure that used to be the printed version of a company. It never changed from year in to year out, but that’s all changed today. A website must have fresh material nearly every day to rank high in the searches that brings traffic to the business; traffic means sales pure and simple.

Once you begin writing for a company’s website, they want more and more new pages from you, and that’s a good thing. Some have multiple pages that need constant tweaking, improving, or fresh material and that’s just the beginning.

Most companies have email lists of satisfied customers and other lists of potential clients. Communications are sent through an auto-responder and need to be designed around an upcoming sale or promotion of a new product. The copywriter designs and uploads these emails to the auto-responder.

Newsletters are another kind of promotion and a serious way to keep in touch with clients. Newsletters are sent out also by auto-responder on a weekly or daily basis. They are not lengthy; easy to write and responsible for what is called “backend” sales income.

Along with these items we have found more companies are realizing the power of quality blogs. These short 300 word pieces are updated as frequently as each day – the company offers the subject material and the writer does the composing.

The Internet is the fastest-growing marketplace anywhere on earth. Foreign countries are just as aware of this as our United States. People skills are being used to fulfill most of this marketing avenue and writers are in big demand. If your writing skills need brushing up, a quick course on creative writing would not be a bad idea. Check out some of the freelance offers online first, and consider whether it may be your answer to spare dollars.

I might add that writing online is about “breaking the rules”. I remember high school English where you had to know all of the spelling and grammar rules. But writing online is a bit lenient on this score. It still requires quality; nobody pays for rehashed garbage.
