This August has been quite a month for me in my journey towards online writing perfection. I’ve spent more time writing than I have ever before as I increased my article selection by almost 80%! I only achieved to do so by pushing my limits, and actually sitting down, thinking and writing!
Last month was just a two article month as I went through a difficult time in my personal life and writing was my last priority! This month was a different story all together! I didn’t begin writing until a week into the month, and it wasn’t until a mere fortnight ago that I overhauled my complete writing ideology towards online writing! It was the best move I’ve ever done actually. Gone were the 1000-4000 word articles. Gone was the poetry and Authspot published material. Gone was the mentality that writing one article every week or so was acceptable for online writing! I put focus on writing concisely but also focusing on complexity through a greater range of articles. I also wondered off and allowed my writing a huge scope when it came to topic selection. I write a broad range of topics from articles about writing, social matters and philosophy to movies, sports, and books!
I now take a structured approach towards my articles and I work within time limits, word restrictions, and topic focus. This forces me to write in a way that provides greater topic focus whilst upholding a ‘short and sharp’ approach towards thought organisation and writer to reader communication. I make writing a daily practice and I strive to write at least one article a day, though I’d like to write three a day as a common writing practice!
I have learnt that writing more does eventually mean a greater readership. This readership, especially a good steady readership is an investment worth sweating for! I aim to push my writing limits tackling a huge scope of topics and taking on a diverse readership! I aim to smash Augusts 78 article achievement next month and hopefully catapult myself to a cool total of 300 articles for the end of September! I aim to further refine my writing style, and even experiment with using hyperlinks.
This is online writing so pushing the envelope will ensure you learn how to cope with such a huge ocean of competition, better yet, learn how to make your own waves! The hardest hurdle was writing daily and receiving little readership for the majority of the articles. I like the feeling of progression, and with online writing that can be a very slow incline over a long period of time. I have learnt to take the good with the bad, and accept the fact that there are better writers out there than me, better business people who know the online gig inside out. There are some very creative writers out there who come up with articles that make me think, ‘I could have done that!’I’m comfortable now with the fact that I wont become an online sensation overnight, and that I shouldn’t give up on myself, because if I do, I’ll never get anywhere with my writing!
I have an article that receives 80-200 views a day, and to me that’s an indication that I am beginning to get somewhere, even if I have just begun the journey! So my advice to you would be this! Dedication, diversity, individuality, and education will make you conquer the huge cyber ocean, one article at a time! Thank you!

Keep going your material is really good. It is to the point quickly your much better cutting down on the words. Just enjoy it the main thing is when you have finished the article you feel you have done what you felt you had to do. Express what you need to express after that what otherpeople think is not the problem.
