Nugget

Explanation of what a nugget is in writing terms from books I have read and what I think of its explanation.

A nugget in writing is a peace of writing that comes to mind as a idea.  What this means to me is something that comes to mind and you write a little peace about whats there.  Once the idea is on paper if it grows it becomes a sort of mine for the writer.  I have bits and peaces I call it for there or a million nuggets.  Your gold mine is a story that forms from the nugget.  This can apply to any field thats on your mind that turns to a story.  Its a fragment of an idea of whats runnning through your head at a pecise time.  I inspire people who like to type or write to jot them down when they come.  This helps when you actually get in the mood and you slip into the writing world as I like to put it.  One it starts growing it may not stop just keep pounding away and something will come.  From here some time’ s when the nugget tuns to gold you may want to start outlining things because it helps organize the peaces you write.  This way if you walk away it is in a form you can come and fill in the blanks.  It is that easy.  I listen to music it helps set the mood for me and alows the outer side of mind to rest and focuss comes much easier on the nuggets that I try and turn into a mine.  Well hope this helps.
