My Writings Can Reach Mountains. Who Agrees with Me?

I never thought I can write articles. Ever since I am a student, I have no interest with journalism. I never attended any forums and activities. I find it boring. I love Sciences, that’s it! 

I took up nursing and got my license as a registered nurse last February 2011. My sister seems to look busy every night after working in a hospital, too. There I found out that he’s working articles, she rewrites and create them.

I tried doing it for her after seeing her unfinished articles, right that moment, I realize I don’t know how to write! I feel so dumb, I can’t even put my thoughts into words. My sentences were too broken, as I read through my work, I can’t even understand it. I just laugh, but I felt bad, too.

I started to scan Ezine.com. I read through the articles that interest me. I found the difference of their writings from mine. It is too different, mine sounds like a 5-year-old kid. I read training guides, articles from experts, tips in writing, techniques in forming sentences and how to make the article worth reading. It tooks me 2 months before I write a new article again. 

I posted it in one of the legitimate sites offering online jobs and I got a job!!!

Now, it’s weekend here. At times, when there’s too many articles to finish in 6 hours time, I wanted to rush through the article without considering its content. But, I think about the time and effort I spent in learning the things I have to, I dont want that effort to create worthless write ups. I wanted to learn and work at the same time. 

When one free lance writer get sick of his job, there is no room for quiting. You are a writer by heart. You cannot get the job if you don’t have the ability to play with your imagination. It takes dedication and patience before getting a work done. Think about the people who will read and critic your work, will you allow them to post negative comments? Ofcourse not. If people will flock on your articles because its interesting, informative and controversial, then, you did a good job!

If you get tired, rest… Restore your mind and fill it with good thoughts. Remind your self that you are a good writer. If an employer corrects you, don’t get frustrated. Its a great means for enhancement. If they won’t correct your mistakes, you will do the same thing over and over again.  take it positively! 

For all writers, whether online or offline, YOUR WRITINGS WILL REACH MOUNTAINS! Now, who agrees with me?
