My Thoughts: Part Five

On August 13, 2011, I struggled to figure out what I would be doing with my life.  I had doubts as to whether writing of any kind was the correct career path for me, because of the obstacles I’ve had to contend with the past.  I wondered what would become of me, with regard to the future.  All I did know for certain was that I could not do anything out of impulsiveness, desperation, hastiness, or anxiousness, on the basis that these elements are no good when it comes to making the correct decisions with my life.  I also didn’t want my life to be at a standstill, either.  I didn’t know what the future held for me, because I’ve had a hard time guiding myself down the path I wanted in life.  All I could do was to pray, and let the Lord guide me. 

I wasn’t sure if I wanted to be a full time writer, on the basis my mind was distracted so.  I came to the realization that I had to shift my focus and figure out what I wanted most in life, and proceed from there.  In order for one to be a writer, he must be inspired, and then he must build his plot in order to produce a great story.
