Most of The Writing on Triond is Simply Bad

Triond is one of many "content farms" out there churning out some awful writing, but it does have its positive aspects.

Writers at the content publishing site Triond usually don’t like to hear it, but the truth of the matter is most of the writing at the site is bad. Very little of the writing is at a professional level, much of it lacking in solid grammar, punctuation, even spelling. Most of the articles are practically useless, many being repetitive of other (and better) articles online, or not thought out. Many of the articles are simply trying to grab views of readers, often utilizing suggestive or even controversial headlines. A number of articles are obviously written by people who have English as a second language and who have not learned even the basics yet, let alone really having the ability to put together a proper story or article.

If you are a Triond writer, are you angry yet? Upset? More importantly, are you willing to accept the truth?

Good, I hope so. If not, you’re living in denial.

But now that I’ve got your attention, hopefully you will continue reading because I have some good news for you. Triond is not meant to be a site for professional writers. It’s not meant to be a site containing professional writing. If so, the business plan behind the site would be quite different than it is, reaching out to professionals and offering professional rates of pay.

While there are those who will shoot down Triond for offering junk, one of the great things Triond accomplishes is that it democratizes the writing and publishing process. Anyone can publish nearly anything (within a few boundaries) through the Triond site. Want to write an article about the latest big news? Try Triond. Want to write out an opinion piece? Look to Triond. Maybe you want to write a short story, some poems, or even a novel? Triond might be your site.

One does not need a specialized education nor such a background to take part in publishing through Triond. A Triond writer can be anyone from anywhere, with any type of background.

Also, one can be anonymous on Triond, which can be a boon to those who want to try their hand at writing but fear facing friends and family or even just the general public. Writers can be a neurotic bunch at times, especially those who are not familiar with the rougher side of publishing and have yet to build up a thick skin.

To repeat, most of the writing at Triond is bad. No, I take that back. Most of it is atrocious.

But that’s okay. The writing at Triond isn’t meant to be great. Triond is for opening doors, for gaining experience, and yes, even for making a little money (very little). It can also be quite fun, especially for those just starting out as writers.

And for those willing to look, there actually is some pretty good writing through Triond.

I’d agree. I will deliberately avoid those who can’t write decent English but that’s because I come from a review site background where that is not only expected but demanded. Lissy

Some of the articles on Triond were translated into English. In many cases, the translation results in an unreadable article.

Apparently other articles were published without a spell check.

Thanks for a high quality well-written article.
