It may seem too good to be true, but there is a site – ranked higher in search engines than triond – where you can re-post your work and not only get more views but earn extra cash too.
Believe it or not, in the past week I have TWICE as many views to the posts I publish on wikinut - http://www.wikinut.com/in/ughfl/ – as to those on triond, and even if the earnings there are not actually that much better than they are here, the fact that so many more people are viewing my stuff gives me a great deal of pleasure and satisfaction.
In this dog-eat-dog competitive world of on line writing, every advantage you can find has to be worth pursuing, and the fact that – for comparitively little effort – you can get your work out to a much wider audience has to be a good thing surely? The beauty of the wikinut experience is that the moderators on the site are very friendly and approachable, and it generally seems every bit as welcoming a community as triond is.
Of course, there are other ways to promote your work, such as links to social sites like facebook, but the newer social site called matesgate is also a great option for any writer, because – if you sign up there, open a triond account through their link and start posting – you not only get 1000 credits per post, but because your post titles will be randomly placed on the must-click main page, you get guaranteed views as well. Just go to http://www.matesgate.biz/refs?tonyleather and sign up for free. BTW, this site PAYS you for being an active member.
It seems to me that any edge a writer can find for promoting their work needs to be a good thing, and though you still will definitely not get rich quick by posting on all the sites mentioned, you will be increasing your public profile, and hopefully also your popularity as a writer people want to read. I have found wikinut to be a truly great vessel or increasing my fan base, and am very hopeful that it will lead to more sales of my three e-books – see these at - http://www.amazon.com/-/e/B006IYVA1K – my amazon author page – Fiction feasts at real bargain prices. I am sincerely hoping that those of you who got free copies of these during my promo week recently will please start posting reviews on my amazon author page?
Once again I feel that we writers need to grab with both hands every opportunity that comes along for getting our work seen, and so far wikinut is proving to be excellent in that regard. I highly recommend that you use the given link to get yourselves signed up to a free means of pushing your work out to a much wider audience, and enjoying the benefits for yourselves.

True. You signin for free. However, please notice that if you leave your account for about 6 month – you start paying them…

Sorry Tony but I cannot think of a worse site than wikinut! I made a total of 6 cents over the course of 6 months… I guess each of us will have a different experience. Thank you for reminding me that my wikinut acct is still open so that I can go there to close it down. I had no idea that we had to begin to pay them after 6 months of no activity. I abandoned the site after my very poor experience with them.

These sites sound interesting and might be worth looking into. I will definitely read up to see if the one actually makes you pay if not using the site after awhile.
