Losing Your Conscienceness: Write Your Mind to Keep It Forever

You just had a new idea or you make a recent breakthrough in your education and you forgot to write down the experience or the knowledge or the results.

Just like a baby, you will have to learn it all again, all over again… How to stop that from happening? Keep reading.

Writing facts down is the best way to make sure your memory is never lost. You might feel tempted once in a while to write things just in your memory and risking losing that memory later. The brain memory is 100% effective but only under hypnosis and not very effective for daily use. This is where the computer comes in. By writing everything down in your computer you will never lose your memory.

What things should you write to never forget? Everything you want to remember later no mater what it is. Numbers, links, addresses, notes, memos, birthdays, everything. If you are concerned about privacy or losing your computer, here are some good news for you: By using an online service such as Mozy, you can backup all the files you want to have later and for free you get 2 GB of information. The software can be installed in any machine because it’s very light and the backups are done 100% automatically, a true set and forget program.

However avoid saving information in your computer in plain text before you safely upload it. For that special case you should use an Encryption software such as True Crypt and leave the rest of the security to Mozy.

    Guy,
Thanks a million for this bit of information. I will definitely try this. It sounds like a excellent idea. I have a tendency to lose a lot of great ideas due to the fact , I write them in long hand and forget where I put them. So this would be very good for me, beings I’m at my computer a lot anyway. Thanks for the heads up!!! Great article.

    Randy
