A few people just don’t have motivation to write.
I have been looking for really good ideas to write about. I have been told by a few people they have ideas but no motivation to write. I often have the same problem. I have been a little worried but am assured I will get motivated to write.
I think for me it’s the time of day and how many people are around me. I don’t often get time to myself but will be getting more of that this week. I get into writing at night time. When everyone else is a sleep. Sometimes I can write in the morning when it’s quite.
When there are a lot of people around me or talking to me while I’m trying to write. I can’t concentrate. Sometime I’ll write down ideas to write about and later don’t like the ideas. I think everyone goes through that. I do know people find ideas in many places but it takes hearing those few words or reading those words to click.
I get most my ideas when I’m very tired and trying to go to sleep. I have been thinking about getting myself a night light as it is hard to read my writing the next morning.

I find I work best at night too. It’s easier to focus for some reason.

I used to be able to write well at night, but it seems lately I’m just out of ideas altogether :O

Its called a writers block. Solitude can help a lot, and reading too.

I hope that you get motivated to write and tons of ideas of things to write about as you are very talented and I know I would love to read and comment on more of your articles.

Writers block is inevitable in writing. Its actualy part of the writing process itself. If you understand that writing in its physical sense, is just merely manifistation of thought, youll begin to see that you never really stop writing and that your constantly on the journey towards expression riding the express writing train!
Great article!

Sometimes I just have to take a few days off to recharge my batteries so to speak.

At times, I just don’t write for a couple of days and just gather or read any interesting set of info.

When I lost motivation to write, I read.

I agree with the above comments that when i lack motivation to write I usually read, but sometimes I am not motivated for that either, then I find playing Scrabble or card games helps.
