List my five is a new site I am trying and it is turning out to be fun and have a lot of potential.
When I first wrote about List My Five I had been a member for about a minute and half or a bit longer but, wanted to let others know that the site was out there. Now that I have actually written a few more article for the site I find this an incredibly easy and fun site to write for. The articles for this site takes only minutes to write and best of all provides a handy way to back link to articles written on other sites to help increase your views across the board. While I do not yet know how effective these links will prove to be in getting more views the potential seems to be enormous.
Of course like any other writing site you will need to promote your articles to get views but, once you build up a following you can not only get views on your list my five articles but, your back links as well. This could with a little effort provide a good deal of exposure for your articles and you as a writer.
What Makes The Site So Much Fun
One of the things that makes the site so much fun is that the articles are short. You only need to list five things in any category you choose and then write a minimum of 50 words for each thing on your list. A form is provided for you to do this so it just kind of like filling in the blanks. At the end of the article there is a place where you can publish URLs to other articles on other sites pertaining to things covered on your list so you can link 1, 2, or 5 of your Triond or other writing website articles to your content.
What These Links Mean To Me
The ability and ease with which I can link to other articles I have written means a great deal to me as I have little time to promote my articles and my efforts in that department have met with limited results. So even a few views on some of my older articles can make a huge difference come pay out day for me.
While this may not be as big a deal for those of you who are good at marketing your own articles it can still provide another marketing source for you as well as a little extra income. However, as I said before the income on this site may be a little slow in getting started. While some writer’s have reached the ten dollar payout in as little as 2 or 3 weeks for others it has taken 2 or 3 months. It all depends on how much your publish and how many views you get on each article.
My Next Step On This Site
My next step on this site is to start reading other peoples work and trying to get my article read from there we will see how everything goes. However, even if the payout is slow, the site is so easy to write for that it will probably become one of my permanent sites.

I think I like My List Five! Perhaps I should try this one..Triond is the only site I write to and maybe it is better to try another. We have the common problem of promoting our articles because it is very time consuming. Learning that this site could help me on that matter is indeed very interesting!

I enjoy writing on List my 5. Writers just starting this site should remember to write as many list as possible. I try to write at least one a day. Sometimes I write 2 a day. I feel this site may prove to be another ehow.

The payout is slow.

Site went under June 15—and left writers without warning and without their commissions from earnings from June 1 – 15. Nasty folks.
Boycott the web designer who put up the website. If he can’t honor commitments, what will happen if you trust him with a contract? You’re waiting and he’s outta there?! Bad business. Bad.

Opps—went out July 15, 2011, not June.
