Let Us All Improve The Triond Dictionary

Some comments on the use of the dictionary, inspired by some comments on an article I read here recently.

Triond is a publishing site. The more content they have, the more they can earn. You do write for Triond first and not for your own earnings, when you are writing here. Simple as that.

Still some like to make easy cash by publishing nearly understandable computer generated texts. Triond has not the personal to read all articles that get published here itself and uses computers for that.

It is in all best interest to work on a better content, for everybody’s best earnings and recognition.

When a text, that is well written has too many words that are yellow, it might be declined as too many readability errors.

Yet, there can be (place) names and so on.  For some reasons a word can be written right, but not be recognize so the Dictionary, since it is not in.

As a non native English speaker I often check and double check my spelling, but we can make it easy for each other.

If you know a word is spelled correctly, but just not in the dictionary, please add it to it. This might make it easier for other to spell check their work as well, also for those who might have trouble with it.

Do mind that you do not enter a typo into the dictionary, but a genuine correct spelled word, so there is less chance that a bad speller or non native English writers might correct things wrong due to the limited capacity of the spell check software.

The spell checker is nothing more than a computer program that runs through your text word by words, checks if it is in their book and if not, gives options what it might be.

The more well spelled words are in it, the better content a writer can produce with it.

I already added Google, since I presume this is name often used in writings.

the Triond Dictionary spell check is person specific. You change your own.. I do not think the changes I make on my editor will show on yours.

I might be wrong but this was my understanding of it when they first brought it out. I might use a word like Wether which is a neutered sheep, but on yours it should show up as a spelling error for Weather, and Whether.
