Least Wanted Articles: Series Making

All articles which are published are not always successful. Some articles become super hit while others are super flop. It is a common intention of any writer that his/her articles are read by the others who give their opinions and comments on the idea presented by the writer. This gives an insight to the writer about the thinking, perception and ideas of the people, which allow him/her to better address the reader needs in his/her forthcoming article. The drawback is that not all the articles are able to capture the expected number of audience, which makes it almost impossible to reviews on the given article. In certain cases, the traffic for the articles meets expectation but lack of reviews by the visitors makes it difficult to evolve his/her thoughts.

There are various factors which have resulted in lack of adequate traffic and/or reviews for the articles. Such factors have been discussed in detail in my previous article “Which Articles Can Lead to Failure?“. One possible reason for the failure can be the area which the article has been addressing and the way it is addressing. Some of the unsuccessful areas identified were politics, movie review, article series making, reviews, philosophy and analytical and informative article. As explained further, there are some specific issue which causes article failure, which are generally not associated with the field in itself as in every field there are successful writers.

Series making

Creating a series out of the successful articles is common tendency among several articles, but this idea can backfire because of increased reader expectations. As a result articles like “Watch Free Online Movies Part Two” and “Feminist Equality Focus” have failed due to their inability to meet the expectations of the reader. This requires higher level of skills and focus, which is not possible for everyone to achieve. So avoid making the mistakes which many film makers make. So, be careful while writing your next article otherwise it may yield no money.
