Journal – One Full Month on Triond

Writers journal on pros and cons of earnings at Triond.

So I started on here just over a month ago and I immediately formulated what I could be earning: 10 hit x 0.001 = $0.01

This means that I would earn $0.10 per 100 impressions for my articles on Triond. I conclude that this is indeed true, as I have observed my earnings like a hawk. I have written just over 50 articles and in just over one month I have accumulated 1,000 impressions in turn that earned me $1.30 on Triond, $0.30 and $0.30 on adsense. This is absolutely pathetic, but it is also something that I expected and as long as what Triond says is actually reflected in real data then I will be happy. So far the data I’ve collected all show the same thing; that Triond is indeed truthful and fair in presenting earnings. :)

When I started writing my first article on here, I never expected Triond to replace my full time job in such a short time, nor did I expect to receive a lot of money or impressions. However, I would say that this is something that I have thoroughly enjoyed so far, I can see myself writing articles just for fun on Triond for its readers for many years – perhaps it will replace my full time job. I have written without restrictions, I have not really put that much effort into writing my articles; it’s just ordinary people writing articles for ordinary people. That has been quite easy. Earning requires a lot of work; so far, it seems worth it, for me and for Triond.

Things I do not like about Triond is the total lack of moderators in the forums. Of course, there are nice people on Triond, who have shared their knowledge and given me helpful advice, but there is also far too many trolls and far too much profanity from posters. I don’t know if such freedom of expression is good or bad, what I do know is that the forums is a place that I try to avoid as a result of people who seem highly confrontational.
