ImKarn got her article spot on. Join the voice against Triond today and demand some answers why pay has declined so much.

After reading her fair analysis of the state of play of our Triond earnings against views, I felt compelled to join her in the shout for more transparency when it comes to Triond’s lack of explanation.
I have been on this site for approximately 2 years and I have read some great work. But what astounds me is that there seems very little reward for people’s efforts. No doubt there are certain explanations since the mighty Google altered their search algorithm. That affected us all and outside of Triond almost crippled thousands of businesses.
Then there is the influx of pure garbage that seems to be part of the Triond way of life. What I mean by that is the dreadful articles with terrible spelling, lack of grammar and instances of plagiarism. It isn’t fair on those writers who take the time to develop and nurture their craft whilst such articles find their way on here and bring the better writer’s earnings down.
Advertisers may also be paying less when it comes to articles adverts. The world economy is in massive decline and all of this may go some way as to why Triond earnings have become less and less, despite perhaps more views. Then there are numerous other reasons perhaps. But for now, they are some of the basic explanations that we may already be aware of.
Many people view Triond as a “fun” site in which to start out writing. That I agree with and support. But there are also writers who know how to put an article or two together. They also help those that wish to develop their craft. Those better writers continue to publish on Triond simply because they enjoy doing so.
Take a look on the message boards and there is one guy in particular who goes out of his way to answer questions that Triond’s incompetent staff members fail to address. His name is “The Stick-man”. If it were not for him, most writers on here would be left wondering if anyone actually exists within the Triond hierarchy at all.

I associate myself very briefly with some of the writers on here. I am a busy person writing scripts and unfortunately I have little time in which to comment on everyone’s articles. But as stated, passions are high when it comes to the decline in payment from Triond.
I am not asking for any comparisons with ImKarn’s excellent article. But I am asking for support on this matter and request – as ImKarn has – that every single one of us unite in which to extract some answers from Triond regarding this site and our earnings.
The more articles on this matter and comments after each one, the more Triond will have to sit up and recognise our cry for justice and transparency.
Or are you a meek, shrinking violet who dare not say -or write – a word?
Remember: We – You – Us – the writers, are the very people who earn Triond staff their wages. The very least we can all expect is an honest and truthful explanation.
I hope all of you continue to support ImKarn’s article and also perhaps this one.
Join the writer’s revolution today!

I totally agree with you Craig. I’ve also been writing on this site for the past two years. I used to make descent money before, but lately all the earnings have dropped. It’s terrible for us writers to have to go through this especially after so much work. As of today, I’m no longer writing on Triond. My adsense account has been disabled due to “suspicious activity,” really interesting I must say…. Well, most of my views come from google as well as earnings so if this is the case, then that means asta la vista baby!

I agree. I have 40,000 hits this month and only made $11. What’s that about?
January 30th, 2012 at 3:56 pm
I have to agree. I really wasn’t thinking about it, but now that I have, when I was raising money from Triond to support a family in need, I had a little under 10,000 views for the month and my earnings where $11.30. I have well over 10,000 views this month alone and only $6.30 earned thus far. What a difference. And like I said on ImKarn’s article, none of my work has had a payout of over $1.00 like hers. It’s like when mine get so high, I don’t generate any money from them anymore.

I have yet to make a dollar on Triond but have observed so many inconsistencies with the earnings..etc. in response to philly dreamer’s idea am going to post whatever I have to say in my article now…together we can do it!

My articles don’t get many page views but they don’t have a mass appeal so I’d expect that. My page views this past year or so have been significantly lower, I presume because they’re difficult to find on Google.
I would think revenues are down for that reason and I think Triond needs to concentrate on quality content because we all get penalised for poor quality content.
There have been articles on here that are blatantly untrue and some are grossly inaccurate. We all get judged by that and peanlised for it.
Triond could also help matters by putting articles in correct categories as well.

The month of January has been rather shocking with earnings…I too have written the Triond administrators due to the amount of views versus the earnings – it is pitiful…count me IN…

Yes, Triond earnings have become less and less…
As I have already posted, I re-publish my Triond articles after 3 days and earn more. It is now one of the highest paying get paid to write sites. If you plan to re-publish, make sure you use the same username.
If you wish you can check out my profile. I am referring to my 1st link.
Happy writing, happy publishing, happy earnings.!
Thanks.

Yes, Triond’s earnings seem to be dropping quite a bit lately. Makes it almost worth stopping writing for them. I have been seeing alot trash put out here, and alot of good people with good writing drove away by the lack of progress in their earnings.

I have not written a lot of articles yet. But I intend to. It would be a great motivation for me to write more articles if triond paid me a bit higher than a few cents.

This site sucks.

More pay would be wonderful but with the economy the way it is, I wonder if Triond is making any money.
January 31st, 2012 at 7:49 pm
Triond are making money, economy or not – the thousands of writers who publish articles week in, week out see to that. They play the numbers game…a few cents or dollars to us each week/month equates into thousands upon thousands for them. That is business – but they could at least offer some transparency, Ruby. Thanks for the comment.

So true Craig. Triond is giving no incentive to writers to make them want to stay. The people here are lovely and I’ve made some wonderful friends but Triond was meant to be a sight were you could be rewarded for your writing. Comments from other writers have become my reward because Triond pays us BUGGER ALL.
I’ve even ventured into Redgage now where I have made more in 7 days than I did for the whole of January here.
If they don’t change their ways and actually start rewarding good writers here as they should they are going to lose these writers and as you said before:
No writers = No Triond

am here again…just a few handful of us is not going to make any difference…

It is still fun, but the earnings are not. It’s a breather for me, going through friends’ articles on Triond.
