Is It More Earning to Spread Your Writings on Several Sites?

Lately I did publish some articles on other sides than Triond and Helium. But the do not seem to get an views. It feels like starting all over, while I am seeing my views going up here on Triond.

I start wondering: yes, I have too much time on my hand and while suffering a writer’s block on the horror novel I am busy with, I made articles to kill time and to maintain and train my English writing skills.

So I posted some articles I considered interesting on some other sites. What happened: no views for a while.

On Triond I do not have much views, but so far I have not published any unviewed article. I make some earnings here, but other sites that claim to earn more per view, do not give me any views at all.

Maybe it is because I am foreign. I do not know. I still have a feeling that the mentality on non native English writers is a bit downgrading on some sites.

Associated Content for example do not give any upfront payment to non US citizens and I do not feel encouraged there.

I subscribed to Factoidz, due to a link somebody gave me, but they do not reply to me, when I wanted approval to write.

On the other hand: I have Triond, mostly to publish and Helium to rate. I posted some things on Associated Content, but it barely gets views compared to Triond and it gets not views at all on Bukisa.

There are even sites that do not allow non Americans. Yes, I like to become a freelance writer and I do reasearch. I have many ideas in my head and many things I might like to learn and write about.

I do not claim to be good at everything, but I am willing to work. If you do not dare, you get nothing.

So far I have not sold an article on the Helium market place, but I have learned to write according to guidelines and I dared to apply.

Maybe I am just a not a great writer, but at least I do write and publish.

But I feel that surely for a beginner, it is best to stick to one site and maybe take that one that gives you most chances and not the one that promises the highest income.

That is why I stick to Triond and Helium for the moment and for the rest I might see later. Those sites give me the most benefit and are most supportive for a novice like me, so I prefer to wait with all others. Making a name and getting read is better effort to work on than to just gain money.

    I have not found a lot of response from other sites to my writing so I stick to Triond. I suppose you have to read the material of other writers on these sites if you want to get views. Just persevere. I am sure you will eventually succeed. A good piece.

    I too find it is difficult to get views on Bukisa. I joined there shortly after Triond and have not yet made their minimum payment. Factoidz is a real stickler for well written articles and after your writing has improved a bit more you might want to try there again. Associate content does get views but it takes awhile to start building them up.

    I used to love Helium but, find many of the changes makes it hard for to find any topic to write about.

    @Martine, Not really. You spread across sites not for more earnings but for stability in your earnings. It also gives a special satisfaction to have income from two sites than just one though you could make the total at one site alone.
    By diversifying like this, you also reduce fluctuations in earnings for whatever the reason can be. For ex, sometimes when triond views take a dip, bukisa views go up and vice versa, whereby I wouldn’t get very depressed if all articles at one site see reducing views.

    @martie,
    This article should help you to learn the difference between bukisa and triond and know what works at Bukisa..
    Comparing Features of Two Writing Sites: Triond and Bukisa

    I was successful, though little, at both sites to earn enough to pay internet and power bills and once set into motion both sites are sustaining although sometimes one does worse than other.

    @Martine,
    From my experience, other than Triond and Bukisa there is no other site that is worth writing for in the long term.
    Helium is simply a waste of time and its not worth trying marketplace. I made easy money long back when helium did not have strict rules and came here to Triond for freedom.
    Below article tells why Helium is not good:
    Which One is the Best to Write For? Triond or Helium!

    Helium marketplace is another big time waster. Just calculate yourself one out of how many writers wins in that competition. And the work of the rest just goes waste who rather publish at Helium itself. That is the trick of Helium to benefit either way.

    There is no site like Triond, even Today! Of course, Bukisa follows it as second.

    @martie: I got news that I can write for factoidz. You are also right on Helium. Personally I find it hard to find suitabl titles there as well, so I prefer to rate instead of write there.
    On Bukisa I am just starting. No views there so far, so I will just sit back and wait.
