What is it that makes a person want to become a writer? And is writing something that anybody can do? Is it a gift or can you easily learn how to write? Here are three descriptions which will help you catagorize your writing activities.
As a writer are you able to write your articles with a high percentage of inspiration? Or do you find that while you are writing your articles it can cause you to have perspiration? Maybe the very thought of having to produce yet another article takes you to the point of desperation.
When a person has been truly gifted with the talent to be a writer, then the inspiration will flow like good wine.
If a writer is experiencing a reduced level of inspiration, it will only be because they are not opening themselves up enough to be able to take full advantage of their gift and receive the inspiration.
This will be because of the other distracts that are consuming their time and their mind. Writing needs concentration and focus and anything that distracts that, can disturb the inflow of inspiration.
Perspiration is usually the result of hard physical exercise, but it also can be the result of nervous uncertainty, which usually gets caused by the mind creating a sense of urgency in what you are trying to achieve.
For example, a writer who has been set a deadline by their publisher to produce a manuscript for their new book will experience this sense of urgency and nervous uncertainty causing obvious perspiration.
And sometimes when a writer is trying to create the perfect ending, to their story, a small amount of perspiration is added to the excitement of finally completing their endeavour.
But no writer should ever feel desperation, if they are having that sort of feeling, then they should consider something different to do, other than writing.
Writing should always be a real pleasure, a joy to perform and it should have an overwhelming feeling of achievement, as you complete another masterpiece of work that you can be proud of.
A true writer will find that the creation of any really good, well written piece of work is usually about eighty five percent inspiration and fifteen percent perspiration, but there is never any desperation.
So, forget the desperation, accept a little perspiration and open up to the inspiration.
To all true writers everywhere, enjoy your writing gift.
