Inside a Writer’s Head

Once upon a time. Three words that are common place when stories are read or now as the case may be told. Human nature mandates that we make up stories to tell every day, if we did not follow this edict life would be boring. I know that some people are better at writing than others just like some people are more athletic than others. Writing no matter how much fun it is and as challenging as it is can also be a failure.

When I write, I have come to realize that I have a goal. I do not know the purpose of the goal but I know that it is there. As a writer I want to know what makes me want to say what I do not say. As a writer I have found that it is eaier to make up what to me is real than what really is real. As I have examined what I want from the goal of writing I know that it is to express myself for me to one day write a book and get published or maybe it is just for the next high. My question is have you ever thought about why you write and the purpose is behind it?
