Information for My Fellow Writers

I’ve heard a lot of talk about another site writers can re-publish their articles, and wanted to share my little piece of insight.

Good Evening Triond Readers and Writers,

There has been many articles written referencing another website, expertscomumn.com.  At first i dismissed the website thinking it was more of the same, and we’ve all had our trying experiences with Triond.com, so i sat on the idea for a while.  I did go as far as attempting to register, run into “technical” difficulties and then completely dismissed the idea.

That was until recently.  ExpertsColumn.com does allow you to republish your articles you have elsewhere on the internet, and so i thought it was worth another shot.  It’s no secret i don’t spend as much time writing as i want to, so i figured if i could re-publish, or even rework a previous article, and still make a few cents then i’ve scored.  I rarely get any views on Triond anyway, in spite of my best efforts.  Although, i was under no guise thinking this was some get-rich-quick-scheme, so it was no major deal.  For me, it’s the creating an article or piece of writing that is more important than the revenue – but a little wouldn’t hurt, right?

After finally being able to register, and complete the simple application process, i managed to republish four of my older articles previously published here on Triond.  Within 15 minutes of publishing the fourth article, my traffic report stated 150 people had read the articles.  Although, i cannot yet comment on any earnings, i can certainly tell you that is more views any of these articles have had on Triond in over a year.

Note to self – do not discount any option, you never know where opportunity will knock!

I do not plan to leave Triond anytime soon, but i wanted to share this with you all.

You can try it out for yourself here:  http://expertscolumn.com/referral/657898ce

Let me know how it works for you.  Good Luck!

Good information and I have looked into this too but have not as yet registered there. I do have one suggestion and I think it is a valid one. If you are going to use the same article in two places rework it, add something new, give it a new twist, maybe a new title. Publishing the same exact article in two, three or more places does nothing for you as a writer other than to make you look like a lazy, disinterested writer who is willing to work for pennies. You will lose followers when the same article keeps popping up with no new information. It is great to use the same subject matter, use the original as your base but rework it from a different angle; then it will be worth publishing in two or more places.

Ixodi, i’ve only posted a few articles – and indeed they have earned more in a few days than in a few months on Triond. Yet, i still prefer the Triond community and forum.

    C’est la Vie.
