Improving Your Writing by Writing Often

One thing that I have learned along the way with my writing career is this very small bit of wisdom. Your writing can only get better by writing more often.

In order to perfect your writing abilities you must make writing part of your day, and every day from then on. When I first started my adventure of being an online writer my writing skills were not that great or that professional for that matter, but I never quit! I believe that is the best advice anyone could give to a new online writer.

You must never quit and never feel defeated when you do come across some negative feedback…and trust me it will happen. In order to be part of the greats here online you must be able to take criticism and often times negative critiques. Take these types of feedback with a grain of salt. If you feel what people are saying about your writing is true then use the advice that they give you, but one thing that you can remember is no one ever said that you have to apply every bit of advice that is given to you. You are still in control of your own writing and your own writing career.

I have gained over the years a very strong appetite for writing. New ideas come from everywhere. This might be a skill that will take some time for others to achieve, but it is achievable. I have found many new writers that have a huge heart and passion for writing, but the ideas just never seem to come. In all honesty I do not know how you could not be flooded with new ideas. Every thought possess a new idea and every new idea is just a second away from becoming viral! Again, with a negative viewpoint, ideas can be like a virus, and can affect anyone the idea comes around. An idea can bring war or it can bring peace.
