I’m sure there are some writers disappointed with their income or the article views. Writing is done for fun but it sure wouldn’t hurt to earn a little while doing so. Thoughts, How many writers are leaving triond?
What if you wanted to be recognized as a writer would you search for the most popular site on the world wide web? Honestly would you rather stay where you make less than those who work in a sweet shop? I’m sure some writers have at least thought about leaving triond. I’m not saying that triond is not a great site I’m just saying that some writers would like a little more recognition. I suppose if you just like writing for fun than perhaps it would not be such an issue. Let’s face it people have to live and yes, writers make little income. IT just doesn’t seem fair to me that a hard worker writer get 1.25 a month. Even for the articles that are not that well written deserve some acknowledgement don’t you think. Triond lets you write what ever you like and that’s great but getting a little more for your time and efforts would be nice! People may browse through and wonder if the writers time is worth the compensation. Time is money and money takes time but it can get quite tedious writing article after article and coming up short. There has to be some sort of change so that writers can feel better about their work and themselves. It is quite depressing that you took the time to write something that you feel is worth more than two cents. I’m just putting it out there. Let’s not fool ourselves saying I just do this for fun when deep down you would like to earn a little more for your efforts. Writing for triond is great but at the same time it can get depressing earning so little. Writers are people too and they deserve to make a little more. Thanks for stopping by.

How very true! We sure do it for the love of it. I can’t seem to break past the $7 mark per month even though I’m trying so hard to share my work. Oh well. We’re not called starving writers for nothing!!

Writing is often times a thankless profession but there are times where it does seem hard to break a certain ceiling and no matter how much we love what we do, that’s something that is hard to get past.

I definitely agree with you. If you would like to get little more, stop by one of my pages called WebShare: http://webupon.com/web-design/webshare/ It seems like very easy way of advertising your work. All we would have to do is create links to our fans’ and friends’ pages in some of our posts. That way we can create a much stronger net between each other’s pages and get more recognition.

I left Triond for a while, but I’m back. Over time, the amount articles earn adds up. If you consider the likelihood a quickly written article would be accepted in a print publication, and then look at how the amount for Triond articles acculmulates over time, I am happy to be published and read. Much of the stuff published on triond would never be accepted for print publication.

But what other sites are there that pay you for your articles?

Yes you are correct. Sometimes the earnings seem like they are really low on Triond, but yeah most of my writing is done for the fun of it and helps me clear my head at times.
