I Made My First Million!
I have been struggling for the past two years to make my fortune, and I finally did but in a very unexpected way. Read my story and be inspired to reach your financial goals.
I started on a mission to make a million pounds two years ago, but I planned to go about it by writing online, blogging and doing various other online activities, I had set myself the task of making my first million in one year! The first year went by and I didn’t hit my target so I was pretty disappointed, I decided to change direction, and start focusing on writing hard copy and ghostwriting instead of writing online, I put all my energy into this, put my head down and just got on with it. I was also running my PR company and doing various small contracts, I rarely had the chance to breathe or do anything else except for work work work! I fell pregnany in December 2008 and I still had not reached my target and was pretty disappointed. Anyway, I continued to write from home, and kind of lost track with my online money making goals, I wasn’t even paying attention to how much money I was actually making until recently when I sat down to sort out all my finances, then I realised I had actually gone past the million mark!!! Wow! I made it but not in the way I wanted to but I still made, it and it was all a result of my hard work. I was always told that I should never underestimate the power of hard work, and this was testiment to that.
I have now set myself another challenge and that is to make my second million but this time online, by blogging, writing content and various other online activities. I am well on my way, join me on my way by following my blog and seeing how far I get with it. Thank you in advance

That’s very impressive. Saying it’s all down to hardwork though is selling yourself short. I worked 100 hour weeks for quite some time as a research scientist and in other jobs before that and am certainly not a millionaire. Sounds like you have a very shrewd business mind. All credit to you. I look forward to reading how you get on.

you are not the first person who has said that about hard work does not necessarily make you rich but hard work running your own business, and having the right mindset can no doubt make you rich. I had to get my mind in the right place first before i started seeing the money I had dreamed of. It is very hard to make millions working a job really a business is always the way forward. Nice work in getting your goals fulfilled. I am curious though. What is your purpose in getting the million pounds? Is it just to be a millionare or there is a bigger picture to this?

well for me it is all about securing a future for myself and generations to come i have recently had a baby boy and i want his future to be bright and dont want him to struggle like I have had to struggle to get where i am today. I would also like to be able to give back and help people in my community and in africa where my parents were born as well. I am also a very motivated and driven person I have to make my mark on this world whilst I am still here if you know what i mean.
