Most interesting part of my write ups are that I don’t get comments much. Yes, I have a good number of triond mates here. Sometimes, some of them probably feel pity for me and writes few comments.
I am not very old at triond. I am trying to make a habit of writing with the existing platform of triond. No doubt that it is a very good platform. Besides my write up, I see and read other’s articles and I get a comparative view between my submissions with others. This helps me in two ways. These are
I learn better sentence framing.
How to start up a topic and how to lead the topic in a descriptive fashion toward the conclusion chronologically.
I get an idea of selecting the topic of articles.
Besides, there is an additional advantage also. That is gathering knowledge and learning new things. Everyday hundreds of new topics are coming and I find many new things among those.

In the mean time, I have reasoned out the causes of less and no comments to my articles. Some of the primary findings are
I myself do fewer comments on other’s topics. A general triond culture is that almost all the writers here will reply your comments by comments. Here I am lacking.
I don’t do tweeting about my articles. Though I know very well that twitter is a very good platform of article marketing.
I don’t mail to my friends or to my known persons about my articles. How idiot I am!
Generally I write on a single topic. 90% topics of mine are about body language. Thereby I could not make versatile reader group. I should write on numerous subjects.
I don’t blog also about my triond articles. I should have started this thing much earlier.
So far, these are the primary findings about getting less comments on my articles at triond. I am thinking to frame up a new operation, “Operation Comments“.

To be honest i used to read lots of peoples work and comment, but now i only read and comment the work i am interested in. After all comments are not really important, it’s the views and you spend so long commenting others when you could be writing new material.

You have diagnosed your main problem and yet you ask. Do you know why I am here? Its because I saw your comment on my article. All authors on Triond don’t comment for the sake of commenting, they comment on those who comment on their work. Twitter, and other marketing efforts bring views and not comments for those must come from writers on whose work you comment.

As Silaho said, you will get views if you market your articles in social bookmarking sites, but to get comments, that wouldn’t work.

Reading and leaving comments does encourage others to make an effort to comment on your articles. And yes, write more versatile articles to garner more interest in your writing. Once you become established you then can focus on your “body language” topics.

I hope you are able to get more comments.

Personally I’d rather have just two or three comments that the writers put thought into than dozens that just say “thanks for sharing”!
