Triond is a great way to make money, but don’t expect huge amounts until later in the year.
When people say they want to make millions, they go online. Some stumble onto our little corner of the web, and some go other ways. The people that visit Triond that try to get rich quickly fail to see how the longer you are on Triond, the more you get.
Think of it this way:
You write 10 articles a month (in reality, you should try to write once a day.)
Each of those articles produce 10 cents every single month. In the first month, you have $1.00. If you continue at this rate, writing 10 articles a month, and the articles you write keep producing at least 10 cents a month, you will have $2 on your second month, and $3 on your third.
For the sake of argument, you do this consistently for 2 years, you’d be making $48 a month. Of course, not all your articles will produce 10 cents, and some do better. Even if you have a 50% failure rate, you’d still be able to cash out with PayPal on your first month!
Even though you can get a view or two doing nothing, it’s always best to learn how to promote your work using StumbleUpon, Digg, MySpace, or some other sites. This is important to earn anything at all!
I try to write one or two everyday, and if I miss a day, I write more to make up for it. Some writers on Triond even write 5 to 10 articles in a day! Think of that! $1 a day if they make 10 cents a month.

Good points! we just have to be consistent to publish articles regularly. Thanks for the computations.

Yes consistency is one of the keys to Triond and making money here.

Consistency, perseverence and tenacity! All else follows!

A writer has to make a long term investment in Triond for all the work to pay off. But if this long term investment is made the investment is worth it. The numbers don’t lie. After being here seven months and having 171 pieces in my account I can assure everyone that the numbers don’t lie.

As a full time working mum, I am trying my very best to write on Triond because I am always thrill to see the cent add up over the days, though it is only cent by cent.

True, persistence and consistency are key. I started on Triond back in June, and for the first few months, my pennies didn’t add up to enough for a payout. But I’ve watched the number grow – my totals for June, July and August finally made my first payout possible. September made me enough for a payout based solely on one month of earnings and this month is shaping up to outdo all the others combined!

If you want to truly make big bucks writing articles, you must write for Helium.

Perseverence – they call it Sisu here in Finland, is the key to success.

This is so true. I love logging in and seeing those cents starting to add up! I got my first payment this month – 73c. It was probably the most exciting money I have ever made! The secret is to think long term and just hang in there. The more you write the more you make.

personally i really don’t make a lot off my writing on this site. I no why too, I don’t write that often and have been busy working on my own novel. You do make some good points though. It all comes down with how much you write and how popular they become, as will as how much you promote them. I have articles and poems and stories some have pulled in good amount of readers and others haven’t. I’m not as good as some, but I do try hard as I can. Thanks for the advice.

That’s very true – - and there are many ways to speed up the process, like adding links to your past articles to the new articles you produce, marketing, etc.
Blessings.
Sincerely,

I think the key here is to keep the old content fresh so that it continues to generate views. This takes some time to learn how to do this and quite a bit of effort, but it is doable.

kind of seems like a no brainer but it’s true
