Here some negative forces working against you. This is the second part to the two part article.

Things to Loathe on Triond

Hot Content – Yes, the Hot Content List can also be a reason to loathe as well. In fact, I still remember the negative feed backs from writers who had since left or become inactive in Triond. They were frustrated on the Hot Content List for listing  fake and trashy celebrity news. I tend to agree with the points they made.

Did you notice one particular article that seemed to be in the Hot Content List for months on end. My advice to rookies is to just pretend that it’s another glitch on Triond. With that in mind, you will get through that particular rough patch just fine. In fact with this mindset, you will get through most things around here with flying colours.

News Article Submission – News articles are the among the slowest to get published here. If you submit a news report for a current event, by the time Triond publishes it, it would have become yesterday’s news. Try it sometime.

Frienenemies- When friends become bitter rivals. It happens sometimes among the Triond community. It may be due to a miscommunication or disagreement over an opinion. This may ruin your morale, time and reputation here. Try to be patient and be nice to everyone and incidents like this will not likely happen to you.

Mal-wares- Mal-wares or viruses can affect any system. The malware issue in September did affect Triond viewership. Some writers lost up to 100% viewership on their articles. That lasted for 1.5 days and gave many members a big scare especially if their livelihood are based on this writing site. The Triond compensation payment helped to calm lots of nerves as well as the hair pulling.

More Glitches – Sometimes an article or two just do not appear in your published content page and you get no earnings for that article. Always submit short or one page articles so that you do not get disappointed and discouraged when that type of glitch happens to you. Spend some time on each article but not too much.

If you can balance everything up and see the positives more than the negatives however, you will definitely stay on. Personally I can see more improvements in Triond in these past few weeks more than in the past year. All thanks to the August glitch and September Malware issue. After experiencing these,  I’m even more optimistic and hopeful that things would improve even further. I guess that is the main reasons why I’m still hanging around here after more than a year. Stay upbeat and positive fellow Trionders.
