For those of you who are already a part of Triond, you know that the biggest challenge is getting enough pageviews to make the entire process worthwhile. Depending on how fast you can research and write, it may take you an hour to write an article or it may take you 10 minutes. The point is not how fast you can write, but how willing you are to make the commitment to keep writing, especially during the first few months when you don’t seem to be making any money. And trust me, you will definitely have a few of those.

This is the third part of a series. Read parts one and two first to get the full strategies for increasing your Triond views.

Increase Your Triond Views #3- Hot Content

Hot content is a hit or miss proposition. Writing about hot content is basically scouring news headlines for interesting stories to write about. Spence Hawken does this a lot, and I don’t know how well it’s working for him but I imagine he’s doing pretty well.

You can use Google News, Yahoo News, Huffington Post, NY Times, or anything else you feel gives you exceptional content. I used to write for the news site sure-start.com (recently moved to NewsforShoppers.com) that specialized in consumer news and product releases. You’ll find that topics like that get a lot of ad clicks because the ads usually display relevant topics.

Alternatively, “hot off the presses” type news will bring in a lot of views, though you might find that they have a lower view-to-click ratio for the ads than targeted consumer based news. (Remember, the whole point is getting people to click on the ads on your articles). You might find that for every 10 news stories like this you write, only 1 will really hit it big, but sometimes that 1 is all you need to average out your earnings.

So to sum it all up, it’s definitely possible to earn money on Triond, but it all comes down to increasing your Triond views, If you’re not spending the time to write them well, promote them, and write about interesting topics, you’re wasting your time here. Yeah, maybe you just write for the love of writing, but you can always just start a blog for that and not worry about Triond at all. If you’re here, you’re here for the money, and it’s all about increasing your Triond views to bring that money in.
