How to Increase Traffic on Triond Without Resorting to Spamming or Going to Traffic Buliding Sites

How to get more views to your triond articles without having to sign up for every traffic increasing website on the web.

Do you want more views, but unlike everyone else, you either do not have, are not very involved in, or do not use sites like Facebook, twitter, stumble-upon, Digg-it, nor go on that many forums/yahoo answers? Well, there are still options for you to increase your traffic on Triond. I have tried these methods and although my viewership is not in the 100’s of views per day, it will increase your views by a mighty sum. I have gotten over 170 views this month from Google alone, over 70 from Triond, and barely any at all from the “traffic gathering sites” like stumble-upon that I have been using.

Many people do not have, are not popular on, or do not use social networking sites and trafficking sites, and many do not want to re-post their articles on numerous writing sites, you do not publish a book using two separate publishers, so why should you do the same with Triond articles?. And it is very frustrating to resort to trafficking sites like digg-it or stumble-upon, as apparently in order to keep up with the views you have to keep up with the sites. And many people do not want to work on writing great articles AND work on some random viewer generating site. So these tips should help.

  1. Put active links to your other articles in your articles. If you wrote a article about cooking, put some links to any other articles you may have that is similar to cooking, and if you do not have any others, than put some of your better articles at the bottom or top of the page. When you do this, add a active link, just a text link will not get you as many views. (A active link is when the link is colored and able to be clicked on.)

  2. Write about interesting topics. Not many people read poems, recipes, craft patterns, or book/movie reviews. You may get a couple of readers to read it, but not that many people are interesting in these. Education is a very important aspect of life, but writing a article about “how photosynthesis works” or the like will not score you that many views, as many people would rather look at more professional articles for their studies. More people are interested in how-to’s, news, celebrities, and controversial issues. So remember that as you are writing.

  3. Do not use overused topics, such as “weird facts” and “celebrity obituaries”. Try to get original when you write, do not look like you took every sentence from a common website or article and reword it. Make your articles from scratch and make them as original as possible.

  4. It is acceptable to quote your own article as a source. Many people may not think this is a very formal approach, but if you have lots of information in one of your other articles that you have not written in your new article, and there is no shame in doing so. Especially if your other article has legit sources in them.

  5. Great keywords. Google has a good thing called “adword”, which shows you keywords and how much traffic they are getting , this helps you to pick great keywords to put in the keyword category so that other people will be able to find your article more effectively. Many times when getting bad traffic it is usually do to bad keywords. Writing your name, or terms like “school” or “writing” will not give you many views. If writing a paper about high-school research papers, it would be things like “writing a research paper”,”highschool research paper” and “the research paper”. Writing good tags or keywords is a great way to increase views.
