How to Get The Most Out of Triond

The first step in making money from your writing is to sign up to a publishing site like TRIOND. If you haven’t done that yet then click one of the links above and get it done.

Open Triond’s ‘SUBMIT’ page. Now – write something. Anything. Write a poem, a short story, an informative article, a book review, an essay, a how-to article – anything.

Create a keyword rich, interesting title and put it in the ‘TITLE’ box. In the ‘DESCRIPTION’ box create a short, interest grabbing description of your article. Now, in the ‘ARTICLE BODY’ box create your article. Make sure your keywords are well represented and if appropriate include a few links and/or photos. That was the hard part. Now choose a category from the drop down list in the next box, that represents your writing. In the ‘TAGS” box list your keywords separated by commas. Finally, choose an image to display with your article. Check the declaration and submit your writing. Triond will review it and publish it – this can take anywhere from a few minutes to a couple of days so don’t panic if you don’t see it right away.

• Write popular articles. How much you earn on Triond is directly related to the number of views that article has and the cost of advertising on that published page.
• Make friends. Triond is a community of writers. Read some articles by Triond writers and become a ‘friend’ of that writer. Leave comments and your ‘friend’ will do the same for you.
• Promote you articles. Link Triond to your Facebook and Twitter accounts so that when you publish something new a link will automatically be published on those accounts.
• Share. Share your link using Triond’s ‘SHARE’ tool.

• Use Googles Wonder Wheel to come up with keyword topics and write a group of articles based on your keywords.
• Try to write ‘evergreen’ articles. That is articles that won’t become quickly outdated and irrelevant.
• Keep writing. The more articles you have out there the more views your writing will receive on a whole.
• Sign up for Google Adsense. This way you will earn money directly from Google for every Google advertisement clicks from one of your articles.
• Be patient. It takes time to build up a fan base and learn what people are looking for.

I’m a firm believer in the idea that the more you publish the more you will earn. It makes sense. You have a better chance of making money if you have 100 published articles than if you have 10 published articles. After all, some articles will be more popular than others.

Keeping that in mind, I like to set realistic goals.

Start with writing goals. Determine how much time per week (or per day) you want to spend on your writing. Commit yourself to publishing 1 or 2 articles a week. Then progress up to 1 or 2 articles per day. It’s important to keep your goal attainable. You will get frustrated and quit if you continually miss your goal.

Making money on Triond is simply about persistence.
