What You Like- One of the best ways to come up with a topic is to think of a topic you like and are knowledgeable about. Whether this topic be about sports, money, cars, or anything else you may want to write about, it can be better if you know what you are writing about. Once you have what you want, search it in Google news and try to look for some topics in the news about your article. Let’s say you chose, the Seattle Mariners, just type it into the Google news search engine, and you will get news stories and articles about the Seattle Mariners. Pick a topic from either an article or a mixture of multiple articles and get typing.

Write A Random Story- Another good way to get an article idea, is to just start writing or typing a random story. In the story just start with a character and make an adventure along the way. Don’t worry if the story is any good or jumps around a lot, it dosen’t really matter. Keep writing into the story whatever comes into your mind. Eventually you could end up coming across a topic that you want to write about.

Upcoming Events- You can also take a peek at your calender and see what is coming up. Holidays or other events can be big topics of intrest for readers. Online Activities- Writing about things that can be done online can be a big seller. Authors have done articles showing lists of different things that can be done on the web. Some have made top ten lists of websites, such as most fun, most random, etc. You can also do things on ways to make money online, or best games to play online. This topic can be a very broad one, but can give you plenty ideas to write about aswell.

8. Look at nature, either on the internet, in person, or on T.V. Nature can spark inspiration within an artist or author, and bring out some good ideas. For an in person expierence of this, you can take a walk, hike, or bike ride.
