How to Find 500 Topic Ideas

A) Reviews
There are 1001 things to review. If you were to look at your surroundings, you will discover many things you could review. Here is a list you can start with: movies, books, restaurants, hotels, salons/ barber, clothes, shoes, toys, shops, websites, electronics, cellphones and cosmetics. You can easily churn another 10 articles from each category.

B) Related Topic Ideas
For every big topic you have, you can break it down to 10 other smaller topics. Let me give you an example. If you have a topic on donuts, you can generate ten related articles on donuts very easily. Some people generate lots of articles in this manner. I don’t normally do this, but I think it is a useful technique if I want to churn out as many articles as possible by the end of the year.

Here are some examples
1) What is your Favourite Donut Flavour?
2) Why I Love Donuts
3) Best Donuts in Singapore
4) Fun Facts about Donuts
5) Chewy Donuts – Have you Tried One?
6) Easiest Donut Recipe
7) Donuts Don’t Have to be Fattening
Why we Should have Krispy Kreme in Singapore
9) Tips on how to make the Softest Donut in the World
10) Eat Less Donuts and Save More!

C) Different Points of View
You can also develop 10 articles from a single topic if you look at different points of view or different perspectives. Here are some examples of different perspectives on your topic.

1) Career perspective
2) Life Perspective
3) Spiritual Perspective
4) Psychological Perspective
5) Parenting Perspective
6) Kids’ Perspective
7) Business Perspective
Marketing Perspective
9) Women’s/Men’s Perspective
10) Money Perspective

D) Gift Ideas for Different Occasions
You can write an article about 10 perfect gifts for different occasions such as the following.

1) Valentine’s Day
2) Mother’s Day
3) Father’s Day
4) Birthday
5) Christmas
6) Housewarming
7) Baby
Wedding
9) Children’s Day
10) Teachers’ Day

E) Recipes
Have a list of main ingredients you love. Some examples include chicken, fish, beef, corn, eggs, baked beans, tomatoes, broccoli, bread, and pumpkin. Create 10 different recipes that includes any of the above-mentioned 10 ingredients in the following manner.

1) Salad
2) Soups
3) Sushi
4) Burgers
5) Pizza
6) Pasta
7) Fried Rice
Noodles
9) Sauce
10) Tempura
