How to Become a Writer.
A Writer writes stories or writes about things that really happened. They write for newspapers, radio shows, television, books, write articles for magazines or journals.
Before a Writer begins to write him or her gather information about the story they plan to write. They do this by doing research at the library, reading books, online research or interviewing a person.
There are different kinds of writers: News writers, Columnists, Editorial, Technical and Copywriters.
Most Writers work in quiet offices was they can think and brainstorm through their ideas. Although some work in noisy rooms like news reporters, some writers have to travel while some gather their information from libraries.
If you want to become a writer you must learn to write clearly, be creative, and have knowledge of punctuation and grammar.
The earned income for Writers varies depending on if you are a freelance writer or write for a company. Bls.gov says writers and authors earned between $34,000 and $67,820 a year in 2006. The lowest paid 10 percent earned less than $25,430. The highest-paid 10 percent earned more than $97,700 a year. However earning for Technical writers was somewhat higher.
