The first of many lessons to help you reach your writing goals.

Research is one of the most fundamental keys in the long, adventurous journey of becoming a successful writer. Whether you are writing a term paper for school or an article for an on-line publisher, you will not be able to provide your reader with well though out, informative work, unless you conduct some basic research. Even if you consider yourself to be an expert on the particular topic, another point of view will only enhance the quality of your work.
The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step. In your case, the research towards writing a successful article begins with search engines. Your first step will be to conduct a simple search on a search engine of your preference. After the results are exposed, click through every title in the first two pages. Give each one a quick look and try to determine 3-5 sources which you will carefully examine for your research. Less than three sources might give you a one sided view on a particular topic. However, more than five sources can overload you with useless information and drift you away from the main subject. That is why it is very important that you use only 3-5 articles, videos or images which will serve as your research material.
Keep in mind that you should only review material which you can fully understand. A thorough comprehension of the subject you are investigating is essential to create a professionally written piece of literary work. While using search engines, you will be exposed to many different types of documents. Try to take full advantage of the information that lays in front of you. Don’t hesitate to look up videos and images to help you with your research. You should exhaust all potential sources in order to filter out the best research material available.
Hope you found this information helpful. Don’t forget to check back in tomorrow for lesson number two, keyword SEO.
Thank you for reading.

You just had a very good point in here! Research is a key but as you have said, it must be a careful and smart researching because using the search engines in the net is just like entering the world’s largest library. You must know what exactly you are writing to limit the information the you will be incorporating in your article.
