The first step to being successful as a writer is to realize that the prestige of writing lies in the axis of patience and correctness.
Writing is a career that carries with it prestige and dignity. All writers if I am not mistaking, have a tint of greatness. It is one that is full of hard work, sustained inspiration and great thinking. Why is it then that some writers become successful while other do not? Why do some win awards and others do not? Why are some given recognitions while others are not? Why do some make all the money and others do not?
The first step to being successful as a writer is to realize that the prestige of writing lies in the axis of patience and correctness. It is natural to want to rush at publishing but take your time to make sure that you do a thorough job that will make you smile when you pick your article or book up in the next ten years. It is only works that are well written that win awards. Resist any urge to get the work out prematurely.
Target your market. Know to whom you are writing to and employ the best language and grammatical cadence to write it. Put in all the creativity and be a master of your time. Know the best time to hit at it.
I will write the next edition where I will share my experience with you. Expect it….

I really liked what you had to say here! I definitely agree that when writing, you should make sure your work is one that you are proud of. It’s good to not rush to publish anything you write. Thanks for the insight!

Hi, Fvikto.
Nice work! I agree with you for the most part. I think there is much more to becoming a successful writer than just taking your time to get it right, though. By the way,… the “if I am not mistaking” line: the word is “mistaken”, and the sentence might be better in front of the one before it, because the line of thought gets broken here.
Thanks and have a good one.
