The changes that I wish would happen at Triond are:
1) Improved systems for Language checking: I am not talking about typo’s and grammatical errors. Though it would be nice if that too was upgraded. But often I see posts which are not even comprehensible because they are exact translations. For instance: You are how? I one writer been very happy there. Sentences like this may contain English words but cannot be understood because they are constructed so poorly. And when the whole article is written like this it becomes gibberish.
2)Pay more attention to get satisfaction: Respond to our queries and complaints and give us prompt feedback. The writers at Triond would feel much more supported if, at least, they could have a more interactive participation with the owners of Triond.
3) Provide more incentives: Pay for each published article, for instance, a small token amount would do. Similarly for referrals. Also, a few cents could be paid out along with the badges-10 cents on completion of 10,000 views.
4) A graded payment system: Maybe Triond would consider paying writers who have regularly published here a little more than new-comers.
5) Give us a real overview: I feel Triond should take responsibility and give us a clearer picture of what is really possible from being on Triond. What you can learn? What you could do here? How much you can earn? Like I wonder if one really earns from all those published articles? Or is the promise of passive income just another cent story?.
6) Publish articles in the proper category: It is awful to see your recipe get published in healthmad or worse still on trifter and so on..the goof ups are impossible!
7) Spam check: Lots of us on Triond republish our old articles with a new title and sub-title here on Triond. It helps to increase your publication content and also to garner more views and earnings for the article. But personally, I don’t like the idea.
Publicize the writer’s popular articles: Some articles will always do better than others. We can capitalise on our popular articles, if Triond allowed us a little space on the profile page to publicize them. It’s just an idea.
9)More support to promote our work: One sure shot way of doing this would be, for Triond itself to make concentrated efforts in improving their page rank.
So much for now, dear reader thank you for taking the time to read How I Wish Triond would Change -The changes that I wish would happen at Triond.

good suggestions

Great ideas. I find it hard to read literal translations of English, too.
June 2nd, 2012 at 5:01 am
There’s a lot that can be done. It’s up to the users themselves to ensure that. All the tools are in place for community editing, etc.
June 2nd, 2012 at 6:28 am
Good share and suggestioons.
June 2nd, 2012 at 6:44 am
This is great.I like it.
June 2nd, 2012 at 7:05 am
I agree, but I doubt Triond will act. I think everyone who’s serious about their writing needs to look to other sites besides Triond.
June 2nd, 2012 at 7:20 am
I agree with all your points especially how articles seem to get put into such random categories. Who is making that decision?
June 2nd, 2012 at 7:42 am
I truly support you on this one, especially on payment for veteran writers! Ah, I’ve started submitting in April 2010 and I’ve only had two articles declined. It must be for something. Good share on Triond Development Day! If you scratch my back, I’ll scratch yours! Ha, ha, ha!

So true, the longer one works, anywhere, the more they make. I think that if Triond was better at improving their rank, we would all benefit
June 2nd, 2012 at 8:11 am
i miss those days when they have many kind of challenges with badges and bonuses and fellow trionders encouraged one another.
June 2nd, 2012 at 8:38 am
Your exact wishes are shared by many of us! Triond has devised a system, so writers earn the least amount and Triond owners earn the most from our writings. They really don’t care what we write, as long as it’s a catalyst they can attach their ads to. They are getting paid a big percentage off those ads and nothing from our article content. Thus, they don’t care WHAT we write as long as they can earn money, by attaching onto it. That’s their goal here on Triond!

Ah Dear Avissado, if wishes were horses beggars would ride.
I am with you my friend xo
June 2nd, 2012 at 11:47 am
I agree with you. If Triond would not allow to publish everything and anything our rating would go up, and all of us could earn some more.
June 2nd, 2012 at 12:34 pm
Great ideas – though I doubt very much whether Triond will ever respond and do something useful for its writers.
June 2nd, 2012 at 2:11 pm
Don’t we all wish for these things?
Then again, I guess there’s more to the problem than that.
Still, there’s no excuse for not making at least the first few steps towards the website’s former greatness!
June 2nd, 2012 at 4:26 pm
Not gonna happen..just forget it..There are a lot of people in this world who work for their own benefit at the expense of others.
June 2nd, 2012 at 8:05 pm
Very well said. I totally agree with you! Thanks for getting more out there about things that need to be changed here at Triond.
June 3rd, 2012 at 1:13 am
Great ideas I am agreed with Kharla Jolly. They really don’t care what we write, as long as it’s a catalyst they can attach their ads to. they are earning with our article aaaaaaaaaaaaah.
June 3rd, 2012 at 10:34 am
Hope Triond will consider these things.. great work Avi !
June 3rd, 2012 at 10:56 am
I wish triond would change too.
June 3rd, 2012 at 12:41 pm

As a former writer of eHow and some other sites, I can testify to the fact that most desires of the site’s writers do not get implemented. Writers can wear themselves out trying to suggest ways to make writing sites better, and most of the suggestions are very valid. My opinion, however, is that these writing sites know exactly what they are doing in order to meet their own business goals. One of those goals seems to be to minimize site staff to keep costs down. When writers pile on and start publishing every sort of thing, it is impossible to keep track of much of it. This often leads to compromised sites with content that, as you say, is gibberish. Content mills are very profitable, and some of them actually get noticed for their quality by advertisers. One site that I really admire is Firehow. They have pulled themselves up by their bootstraps, and if you have a question, their staff will personally answer you quickly. That is unheard of. They are polite and respectful, at the same time allowing much leeway in writing. Their pay arrangement is more than fair. I hope they are able to take the place of eHow, as that formula, whatever it was, made their writers a tidy sum of money, consistently. Demand Studios now runs eHow.

June 4th, 2012 at 6:18 am
Good suggestions.
June 5th, 2012 at 7:06 am
You are absolutely right. Is Triond losing control?
June 5th, 2012 at 7:36 am
Sometimes my articles get published is totally riduculus such as just an example I once wrote a beauty tips article and it got published in science ray. I wish the other end of triond would actually read our articles.
June 5th, 2012 at 10:02 am
Aside from 4 I agree with all those ideas. So how will you promote them?
Just do what is written in this article:
