Murphy’s law has hit this writer hard the last couple of days, every thing that could go wrong has.
I knew when I began writing that writing could prove to be very challenging. I just had not realized how challenging it could be until the last two days. They have been the most frustrating two days since I began writing six months ago.
I have gotten so use to writing on a schedule. While I don’t always accomplish all I set out to do each day with my writing I usually can make enough head way to go to bed feeling at least faintly pleased with my accomplishments. That simply has not been the case.
Yesterday, I wrote two articles for Triond. I usually consider that a pretty good start to my day. Usually, my articles here get published within an hour or two of submission. Yet, by midnight neither article had been published. I found this surprising, but nothing to worry about. However, neither article got published today either. Now, I am worried. Either there is something wrong with both articles or there is some kind of snafu.
Still, that would not be enough to throw me off. However, on Bukisa I also have two articles submitted and waiting for publication, and ehow will not let me submit at all. For two days, I have been typing in the same article over and over only to have everything wiped out when I hit the submit button.
I have had this kind of problem with ehow before, and usually take it stride. However, if no new published articles on either Bukisa or Triond I am beginning to feel frustrated. As we all know you have to be published to earn, and now I have three sites that I have had no knew articles on for over 48 hours.
That is just the beginning of my problems. I can’t even access another site and then today I spent two hours working on an article I have been researching for weeks only to accidently delete it when I went to print it. I spent another hour and half rewriting the article, and I still have to proof read it before I can submit it for publication.
My normal production rate is 3 to 6 articles a day depending on how well the muse is striking me, and how much research I need to do for various articles. My average of published articles in the last two days has been article per day, both for the same site.
That site is now screwing up my views. At noon I had over 50 views on the site, now the site is telling me I have three. My income on the site has also went backwards since noon.
While I am sure that all these glitches will be worked out eventually, it makes for a frustrating and challenging day of writing and getting published.
The one silver writing in this writing cloud that has been hovering me for the last two days is that I now have some idea of how much passive income I am making since there are no new published articles.
For tonight I am turning in, and hoping that a ray of writing sunshine will cast upon me in the morning.

it is most annoying when things like that happen, don’t I know it … just persevere, things will start to go smoothly again after a while

You know when it rains it pours. I wish I could get out several articles a day but for me it is not to be. I feel blessed to publish four or six a month.

I am lucky to write a piece every three or four days. Sorry about all your problems. I hope they will be sorted out soon. At least this article has been published.

Can be very frustrating at times to write online. I’ve deleted articles without back-up in the past and that is the worst!
