Guide on How to Start Writing

Are you running out of ideas on what to write? As a writer you must remember these tips that will keep you going whenever you feel you’re stuck and cannot think of anything to write.

1.    Blog About What You Love

The beauty of blogging or writing articles is that you do not need special requirements like a degree or masteral and doctoral. You can almost write anything about what you really love to do or share to everyone. All you need is that passion that ignites you to write something you’re heart desires.

2.    Read, Read, Read

Surf the web and take a look at the articles you want to write about. Read and analyze what the topic is all about. Then you, yourself, can write about it. Of course it would require you to write another article because if not, it would be plagiarism. Those you read just serve as guide. After all, you need a little inspiration to start writing.

3.    Interviews

If you want to write about something that’s not in your turf, then you might want to interview someone who knows more about it than you do. You can also talk or “email” to an author of a blog or anything on the net. With internet, there are many possibilities. Talking to an interviewee might give you some valuable information as well as inspiration on what you want to write.

4.    Write What You Know

You should stop worrying about what others are writing about. Instead, you should focus on you. What do you know that might get others interested? Write it. Try not to spend so much time in front of the computer thinking on what to write, target your concentration on what you already know.

5.    Write What You Don’t Know (Sometimes)

Now, as contrary to Tip #4, it’s also okay to write something you’re not really familiar with. As a writer, you must explore uncharted territories so that you will become a “seasoned writer”. This means that you have wrote about many imaginable things under the sun. It will experience and fuel your ideas as a writer.
